About Engel Electric
Our History
Engel Contracting is the parent company of Engel Electric, a family-owned and operated business known for its high-quality residential and commercial electrical installations in solar power, electrical backup, and general electric installation and repairs. We have proudly served the San Antonio area and surrounding cities in Texas for the last 20 years and counting.
We have completed solar and battery projects from 1 kilowatt up to 4 megawatts in both residential and commercial settings using a variety of technologies including, but not limited to Tesla, Enphase, SMA, SolarEdge, SolArk, and Fronius. Additionally, we have installed over 200 Kohler/Generac generators. All of our services are available either grid-tied or off-grid.
Engel Electric is well-known among key players in the electrical and solar industry in south Texas and has built strong relationships locally with CPS Energy, the City of San Antonio, Alterman Electric, Texas Utilities, AEP, BPUB, Tesla, and many more. Our company is Tesla’s south Texas’ preferred contractor for solar installations.
